06. 22. 16: a sequence created from my sounds mech-keyboard-01. Wav and mech-keyboard-02. Wav, plus a beep to make it sound like a register or something.

Okay, this one has a strange story behind it. I don't remember why i was recording, but it was my voice (probably a narration,) and when i listened to it, this sound showed up at the very end. I was the only one home, and i don't remember a sound outside prior to pressing the stop button, but it was there. Weird, random, and unexpected, but neat all the same!.

This is the announcement made inside a sanisette (a self-cleaning, high-tech street toilet found throughout paris) when the door opens after pressing the button to go in. The mechanical noises are unavoidable because the announcement is triggered by the opening of the door. Recorded with zoom h4n built-in mics / 94 khz / 24-bit stereo.

Camera noises. I pressed shutter button of nikon f4, which i bought 15 years ago. It is full-automatic action, and you can hear splat the shutter makes, motor-driven film winding-up, and slight harmonics its aluminum chassis plays. This is a very lowfi recording of a xerox workcentre 7345 in a very small room being switched on from standby and initializing, including some button presses with beeps, mechanical movement sounds and motors. The bitrate is only 13 kbit/s and the resulting audio quality not very good, but the file size is really small. Maybe audio level needs normalizing, though.

Some sound i accidentally made while recording something with my webcam mic. If i recall this was a sound i made after sipping some water. However, because of my webcam mic's lo-fidelity, it ended up sounding like a great menu accept sound for a game.
